Lachlan Williams grew up in a theatrical family and it was no surprise when he took to the stage at an early age. Now 18 years old, he has performed extensively in amateur theatre, film and music. Some highlights have included many lead roles with the Adelaide Youth Theatre including Troy High School Musical, Peter Pan The Adventures of Peter Pan and Bugsy Bugsy Malone , a show he subsequently directed through the company. Professionally, Lachlan has also performed with Heaps Good Productions at the Maritime Museum, Singular Productions/State Opera in Different Fields and Windmill Production Company in Snugglepot & Cuddlepie. With a keen passion for music, Lachlan plays the piano and double bass, and is self-taught on guitar and electric bass. Lachlan played bass in the orchestra of Adelaide Youth Theatre's 2017 production of 13 The Musical. While at school at Scotch College he was Captain of Performing Arts, and involved in several musical ensembles. He also took part in the annual musical production with exciting roles such Riff West Side Story, Pilate Jesus Christ Superstar, and Julian Marsh 42nd Street. Lachlan is on a gap year and works for Mosaic Audio Visual while continuing to take part in Adelaide’s music and theatre scene.
